Now Hiring: Axe Coach

Slashers Axe Throwing & Ales is a horror-themed axe-throwing experience and beer bar opening in Costa Mesa. Slashers will be open all year long, Wednesday-Sunday. We seek enthusiastic individuals to coach our guests on axe throwing and ensure a fun and safe environment.

Walk-in Interviews Sunday, 10/29, from 9am-4pm.

Address: 1941 Newport Blvd. Costa Mesa.

Requirements:

• No axe throwing experience is required, although coaching, customer service, or theatre/acting experience would be helpful.
• Must be upbeat and personable.
• Must be comfortable memorizing a script and speaking in front of a crowd.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Must enjoy helping/coaching people and celebrating their success.
• Flexible schedule- must be available on weekends.
• Work independently and as a part of a team.
• Able to take direction and constructive feedback.
• Maintain ongoing facility cleanliness.
• Able to lift 30 pounds.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities:

• Provide coaching and guidance to individuals or groups.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of participants during activities.
• Make bookings and take payments over the phone and in person.
• Answer phones, emails, and messages.
• Responsible for set up and clean-up.
• Responsible for organizing and engaging party guests through interactive games.
• Other responsibilities may arise occasionally and may be assigned.
