Spooky season is our favorite time of year, so this October we’re giving you even more reasons to break out your costumes.
From September 30 through November 1, Slashers Axe Throwing & Ales is celebrating Dress to Kill, a five-week costume event featuring a different theme every week—and every time you participate, you’ll have a chance to win one of five prizes worth $400 each!
5 Weeks. 5 Themes. 5 Winners.
Each week has a different costume theme, so whether you’re into zombies, ’80s fashion, horror movies or just really love Halloween, there’s a week for you.
Week 1: Summer Camp — September 30–October 4
Grab your camp shirts, scout uniforms, counselor gear and summer-camp-inspired looks. Whether you’re a camper or counselor, we’re kicking off October with a trip to summer camp.
Week 2: Zombies — October 7–11
The dead are taking over Slashers. Torn clothes, zombie makeup, and undead looks are welcome. Or come as your favorite hero from a Zombie movie or TV show.
Week 3: Totally ’80s — October 14–18
Big hair. Neon. Leg warmers. Denim. Tracksuits. Break out your best 1980s look for a week that fits right in at Slashers.
Week 4: Horror Movies — October 21–25
Dress as your favorite horror movie monster, villain or hero. From slashers and final girls to creatures and cult classics, this week is for the horror fans.
Week 5: Your Halloween Costume — October 28–November 1
It’s Halloween week, so anything goes! Get another night out of the costume you’ve been working on and wear it to Slashers.
Come in Costume. Get a Raffle Ticket. Win Free Date Nights.
Participating is simple.
Come to Slashers in that week’s costume theme and you’ll receive one raffle ticket per person, per reservation.
At the end of the event, we’ll draw five lucky winners, and each winner will receive:
5 FREE DATE NIGHTS AT SLASHERS — A $400 VALUE!
That’s five one-hour axe throwing sessions for two people.
With five different costume weeks, you have plenty of opportunities to dress up throughout October and get your name into the drawing.
Costumes must be safe to wear while axe throwing and comply with all venue safety policies. Closed-toe shoes are required.
A Different Kind of Halloween Activity in Orange County
If your usual Halloween plans involve haunted houses, pumpkin patches and scary movies, add something different to the list this year.
At Slashers Axe Throwing & Ales, you’ll step into an immersive 1980s horror atmosphere while throwing more than just traditional axes. Try your hand at hatchets, throwing knives, the Combat Shovel, Hammer Axe and our Big Axe while playing a variety of projected target games.
